Summary: This position is responsible for the supervision of all international inbound shipments, including US Customs clearance. The analyst serves as the single point of contact for the GFSI international transportation service providers, GFSI logistics personnel, suppliers, customs brokers, US deconsolidates, and agent partners. This individual works in direct collaboration with GFSI’s Customs brokers to ensure all GFSI’s Custom transactions are processed with the correct documentation.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
 
Tracks and traces all import shipments through the various transportation modes to ensure timely receipts for GFSI production runs and overall inventory needs to fulfill customer order requirements.
 
Confirms all shipments have cleared through US customs. Keeps record of ABI responses, and contacts broker regarding anything not showing a clearance. 
 
Alerts the appropriate GFSI parties with timely updates of any delays and/or issues with freight. This includes any delays with regards to customs exams.
 
Updates internal Arigo system dates as well as compare commercial documents to Arigo for accuracy.
 
Manages the coordination and delivery of all GFSI events and tradeshows (domestically and internationally).
 
Coordinates Carriers, GFSI Production and Event One to ensure product is ready and shipped and received on-time.
 
Works closely with GFSI’s deconsolidates at the following US ports: New York / New Jersey, Miami, Houston, Chicago, and Los Angeles / Long Beach. 
 
Coordinates with GFSI’s receiving department to schedule final delivery of dry vans, courier shipments, air freight, LTLs, and containers.
 
Updates and maintains the unloading report, which provides GFSI’s inventory, sourcing, quality, and receiving departments with current information on receiving schedule.
 
Manages consolidation functions at the origin ports and gateway ports of entry to reduce freight costs.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; two – three years of experience in international and domestic logistics.
 
Computer Skills:
